Geography:  
Located in North Africa, Algeria is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea (1200km) on the north, Morocco, Western Sahara and Mauritania on the  west, Mali and Niger on the south and Libya and Tunisia on the east.
Climate:  
Mediterranean along the coasts with anpluviometry which rises from the West to the East, condensed  between September and May (temperatures range  from 15° in winter, to between 25°-35° in  Summer); Continental in high plains with hot summers and cold winters. Desert weather in the south with precipitations and temperatures that can be as high as 50° in summers and strong  diurnal amplitudes (very cold nights).
