Standard Documents:

1. Two application forms fully completed and signed by the applicant. Press visa needs special form.
2. Passport valid for at least 6 months.
3. Two recent passport size photographs (to be attached to each application)
4. Additional documents are required for different types of the visa  as follows:

Family visa: Attestation letter from the host relative certified by the mayor of the destination city in Algeria.

Business visa: Must be supported by a letter from the employer or an invitation letter from the Algerian partner or a booking at a hotel.

Tourist visa: Must be accompanied by either attestation of accommodation or a hotel booking a letter from a travel agency and proof of finance for the period of stay.

Work visa: Temporary work permit issued by the Algerian relevant authorities  

Cultural visa: Invitation to a cultural, scientific or sports manifestation or function and proof of finance for the period of stay.

Study visa: Must be accompanied by a registration certificate at university or any educational institution accredited in Algeria.

Transit visa:  Visa issued by the country of final destination.

Press visa: Journalist card and letter from the employer requesting for Algerian visa.
